What we did
For the past two years, White Label have supported the founding partners of the LandAid MIPIM Tennis tournament, event and project managing the event from start to glorious finish in the heat of the French Riviera.
How we did it
Event managing the tennis tournament ranges in complexity from liaising with the Cannes Tennis Club to raising sponsorship support, finding players and setting up the event on the day. White Label have produced all marketing, comms, design and web presence surrounding the tournament.
The LandAid MIPIM Tennis Classic 2017 proved a hit as players, spectators and sponsors came together to raise over £20,000 for LandAid, contributing towards their aim to end youth homelessness by 2026.The tournament also contributed 1,220 euros towards the Cannes Community Fund, represented by the Deputy Mayor of Cannes Max Artuso and Franz MacElhone. MIPIM attendees enjoyed a break from the event halls to join fellow tennis enthusiasts and property professionals networking in aid of a good cause.
On the courts, 28 players were put through their paces with Paul Monaghan of AHMM Architects coming out on top ahead of some stiff competition and lifting the #MakeARacket shield, presented by Chairman of LandAid Liz Peace CBE. The event was attended by well over 100 people, and the crowd was entertained by Darius the Magician, who used his powers of hypnotism on a number of willing spectators whilst others enjoyed a tasty breakfast and champagne in the sun.
